Son to Kenneth Owen and Robin Godsey of Cape Girardeau, 1:58 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008. Name, Braxton Kayle. Weight, 9 pounds, 7 1/2 ounces. First child. Ms. Godsey is the daughter of Orval Godsey of Jonesboro, Ill., and Susan Godsey of McClure, Ill. She is a sales associate at Sportsman's Trail. Owen is the son of James and Linda Owen of Delta. He is a deckhand with Archer Daniels Midland.

Gunkel

Twin daughter and son to Clay and Brandi Gunkel of Madisonville, Ky., Regional Medical Center, Friday, March 7, 2008. Claire A'Dale was born at 3:56 p.m. and weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces. Clayton Nickolas was born at 3:57 p.m. and weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces. Third daughter and first son. Mrs. Gunkel is the daughter of Nick and Charlotte Lanpher of Cape Girardeau. Gunkel is the son of Dale and Phyllis Gunkel of Madisonville.
