Second child, first son. Mrs. Brant is the former Amy Niederkorn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Niederkorn of Chaffee, and Mr. and Mrs. Morris Welsh of Cape Girardeau. Brant is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Menz of Scott City, and the late Roy Brant. He is manager at Heilig-Meyers Furniture Co. in Brownsville.

Diebold

Daughter to Keith A. and Mona Kay Diebold of Stavanger, Norway, Rogaland Hospital in Stavanger, Sunday, Jan. 5, 1997. Name, Cassidy Kay. Weight, 7 pounds 12 ounces. Third child, second daughter. Mrs. Diebold is the former Mona Gentemann, daughter of M.C. and Marge Gentemann of O'Fallon. She is a teacher at International School of Stavanger. Diebold is the son of Sirphenia Diebold of Cape Girardeau, and the late Quentin C. Diebold. He is an engineer with Western Atlas International in Stavanger.

Wipfler

Daughter to Phil and Mary Wipfler of Columbia, Boone Hospital, 2:22 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 1997. Name, Christina Nicole. Weight, 5 pounds 9 ounces. First child. Mrs. Wipfler is the former Mary Singer, daughter of Bill and Beverly Singer of Hale. She is an underwriter with Columbia Insurance Group. Wipfler is the son of Charlie and Susie Wipfler of Scott City. He is operations supervisor with State Farm Insurance in Columbia.
