Landewe is the son of Bernard and Shari Landewe of Cape Girardeau. He is employed by Notre Dame High School.

Griggs

Son to Christopher Michel and Tracy Hope Griggs of Scott City, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 5:40 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 23, 1999. Name, Landan Christopher. Weight, 9 pounds, 3 ounces. Second son. Mrs. Griggs is the former Tracy Ziegler, daughter of Ronald and Sandy Ziegler of Jackson. She is a secretary at Security Bank & Trust. Griggs is the son of Mark and Judy Griggs of Chaffee and Jerry and Judy Kennedy of Scott City. He is a police officer for the city of Scott City.

Payne

Son to Calvin and Queen Esther Payne of Cape Girardeau, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 5:51 a.m., Friday, Dec. 24, 1999. Name, Johnny William. Weight, 6 pounds, 3 ounces. Sixth child, second son. Mrs. Payne is the former Queen Thomas, daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Johnny Thomas and Earleane Thomas, all of Cape Girardeau. She is employed by Heartland Care and Rehabilitation Facility. Payne is the son of William Bollinger and Betty Davis, both of Cape Girardeau.
