Mrs. Wintermantel is the former Ann Statler, daughter of the Rev. Earl G. and Edna Statler of Cape Girardeau. She is a data base coordinator with International Thomson Publishing in Pacific Grove, Calif. Wintermantel is the son of Cathy Wintermantel of Indianola, Iowa, and the late Myron Wintermantel. He is a research plant pathologist with the United States Department of Agriculture in Salinas.

She is employed at Beverly Healthcare and also employed part time at Southeast Missouri State University. Pujol is the son of Ray and Ethylene Pujol of Bunkie, La. He is a professor of exercise physiology at Southeast University.
