Mrs. Trapp is the former Jessica Hodge, daughter of Paul and Pat Hodge of Cape Girardeau. She is a preschool teacher at Community Day School. Trapp is the son of Kathy Upchurch of Cape Girardeau, and the late Danny Upchurch. He is a wage and hour investigator with Missouri Department of Labor.

He is a cook at Isle Casino Cape Girardeau.
