Daughter to Eric Scott and Angela Lynn Olson of St. Peters, Mo., St. Luke's Hospital, 10:39 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2009. Name, Jocelynn Faith Underwood. Weight, 8 pounds, 5 ounces. First child. Mrs. Olson is the former Angela Underwood, daughter of Neil and Mary Sue Conrad of Jackson, and the late Larry D. Underwood. She is a practical nursing department chair at Sanford Brown College in St. Peters. Olson is the son of Les and Donna Olson of St. Louis. He is director of health and safety at Gerstner Electric in St. Louis.

Son to Ronald O'Neal and Hallie Maran Silavent of New Hamburg, Mo., Southeast Missouri Hospital, 1:48 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2009. Name, Collyn. Weight, 7 pounds, 2 ounces. Second child, first son. Mrs. Silavent is the daughter of Melvin and Deborah Schott of New Hamburg and Mac and Shari McConnell of Cape Girardeau. She is a student at Southeast Missouri State University. Silavent is the son of Randel and Sue Silavent of Ozark, Ala. He is employed at Southeast Correctional Center.

Son to Joshua Joseph David and Christa Marie Crain of Patton, Mo., Southeast Missouri Hospital, 5:39 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2009. Name, Brayden Michael. Weight, 9 pounds. First child. Mrs. Crain is the former Christa Herzog, daughter of Charlie Herzog of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., and Marilyn Herzog. She is an interior designer with Hutson's Fine Furniture. Crain is the son of Jo Mitchem of Patton and Joe Crain of Jackson. He is an assistant manager at Sam's Club.
