Beggs observe golden event

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Beggs of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 14, 2005, at Emanuel United Church of Christ.

The couple renewed their vows during the morning worship service, with the Rev. Samuel Roethemeyer performing the ceremony. A dinner followed in the fellowship hall.

Hosts were their children: Mr. and Mrs. Dean Beggs and children Michael and Catherine of Des Moines, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Beggs and children Hunter and Audrey of Jackson, and Mr. and Mrs. Layton Beggs and children Morgan and Bailey of Crump.
