JACKSON, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Bob Clippard of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner and dance Sept. 9, 2000, at Drury Lodge.
Hosts were their children and spouses: Sue and Ronald LeGrand of Mattoon, Ill., Mike and Kathleen Clippard of Jackson, and Gregg Clippard of Florissant, Mo.; and grandchildren and spouses: Carrie and Ray Perez of O'Fallon, Mo., Sarah and Jeff Livesay of St. Joseph, Ill., and Lori LeGrand of Bloomington, Ill.
Guests attended from California; Mattoon, St. Joseph and Moro, Ill.; Festus, Florissant, Dexter, Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Chaffee, O'Fallon and Oak Ridge, Mo.
Clippard and Mattie Goza were married Sept. 9, 1950, at the Methodist Church in Piggott, Ark., by the Rev. W.O. Scroggin. Their attendants were Doris Ludwig Ford of Cape Girardeau and the late Ralph Ford.
Clippard was employed by Prudential Insurance Co. 30 years.
