ANNIVERSARIES: VOGELSANGERS MARK 50TH

Mr. and Mrs. Elbert E. Vogelsanger II of Rocklin, Calif., observed their 50th wedding anniversary May 19, 2001.

Their sons and families hosted a celebration at the Santa Maria Country Club in Santa Maria, Calif.

Vogelsanger and Mary Sue Finney were married May 19, 1951, at St. Mary's Cathedral, by the Revs. R.E. Beckmann and Joseph P. Dyra.

He is the son of the late Elbert E. and Opal Marie O'Brien Vogelsanger of Cape Girardeau. Mrs. Vogelsanger is the daughter of the late Paul William Finney of McAllen, Texas, and the late Ruth Harris Finney of Morley, Mo.

Members of the wedding party in attendance were Mary Ann Baker of Cape Girardeau; James Futrell of Chicago; Jim Fellenz of Beaver, Pa.; and Arnold Nelson of Santa Monica, Calif.

The Vogelsangers have two sons, John Francis and Stephen William Vogelsanger, both of San Jose, Calif. They have four grandsons, Paul, James, Sean, Steven, and a granddaughter, Erin.
