Allens will mark golden event

CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. James E. Allen of Charleston will observe their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 18. The couple was married Jan. 18, 1957, in Corinth, Miss. The Allens have eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
