Head to West Park Lanes for a ninepin, no-tap bowling tournament to raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Zoo Fun Night

Concepts Styling Salon will donate 10 percent of today's sales to the Run Ride for Ragan, which supports local women fighting breast cancer. There will also be product demos and special deals and gifts with purchases all day. Concepts is at 107 West Drive, Suite C in Cape Girardeau.

Macy's Pink Out Night

Pretty in Pink 5K Run/Walk

The fifth annual event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month is set for 8 a.m. at Arena Park in Cape Girardeau. Registration begins at 7 a.m. The cost is $30, with proceeds to benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Everyone is encouraged to wear pink. Early packet pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at the American Cancer Society office at 106 Farrar Drive, Suite 104 in Cape Girardeau. Scrapbooking Crop for Breast Cancer Awareness

Join the American Legion Post 63 for a 12-hour scrapbooking crop fundraiser for breast cancer. In addition to scrapbooking, the event includes prizes, games and other fun. Biggest Ta Ta Ride Ever

Bootheel Harley Davidson's third annual poker run supports the American Cancer Society. Registration is from 10 a.m. to noon the day of the event. The cost is $10 for a hand and $5 for each additional hand; the price includes a free bandanna. Pink Up Philanthropy

Ten percent of today's sales will be donated to Dig For Life. Philanthropy is on Broadway in downtown Cape Girardeau; shop from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Pink Moon Run and Walk

The fourth annual Pink Moon Run and Walk starts at 4:30 p.m. at the Cape Girardeau County Courthouse in Jackson. The event, organized by A Sister's Hope, will raise money for breast cancer research. Participants can choose from an 8K run or 8K walk. The welcome and walk begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by the run at 5:15 and an awards presentation at 6:45. Shoppers this month (online and in-store) can round their purchases up to the nearest dollar, with the extra proceeds going to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Shoppers can also "Give Breast Cancer the Boot" from Oct. 4 to 14: For every pair of boots purchased online or in stores, J.C. Penney will donate $2 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
