What is the most important issue facing Gordonville?
The septic treatment system is a $2.45 million project that we have been working on with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for nine years. With the development of several subdivisions in our area, we are working with the subdivision developers to include them in our system to help lower the monthly user rates for all the people on this system. This is a much needed improvement for our village.
What in your education or background makes you qualified for this office?
I have successfully worked in both the public sector and manufacturing, and have quite a bit of experience in project planning.
Why are you better qualified than your opponent(s)?
Having served as the clerk from 2001 until 2007, I was elected by the board of trustees as the chairman/police chief in 2007 and again in 2008.
I have been involved in bringing the village up-to-date in technology, and our police force up-to-date with the proper equipment, policy, etc.
I look at the best possible option for the village as a whole before making a decision.
