What is the most important issue facing the Delta School Board?

I feel the most important issue at this time is to continue to ensure the highest quality of education possible to our children. The district is stepping forward with the construction of a new grade school, I feel we need to ensure as parents and partners in education the equipment, supplies and educators are the best possible.

Did you support the construction of a new grade school and how do you think the project is proceeding so far?

The construction of the new grade school is wonderful. The cost of upkeep of the older building is not cost effective. Additionally, all the students will be centrally located, reducing transportation cost, increasing the flexibility of staff who serve both the high school and grade school and increasing the security of our children.
