1. What is the most important issue facing Perry County Memorial Hospital? Dealing with the current health care climate, especially in regard to Medicare, Medicaid, and unreimbursed medical care is a major issue. How they affect the hospital are important issues that rural hospitals such as Perry County Memorial Hospital must face.

2. What in your background or education makes you qualified for this office? My greatest abilities are being a good listener and communicator. As far as education goes, I have a master's degree in elementary school administration and have been a schoolteacher for over 30 years.

3. Why are you better qualified than your opponents? I'm not familiar with their qualifications, so I would not care to comment on them. I am willing to put in the time and effort needed to do the job.
