What is the most important issue facing the Scott City School Board?

One of the issues I would like to see done in the school district is to improve the salary of the teachers to make it equal to all the other school districts in this area, so that we will be able to keep the best teachers available.

What in your education or background makes you qualified for this office?

I have had my own business, so I have experience in managing and making sure everything is done right.

Why are you better qualified than your opponent(s)?

I know a lot of teachers and children who go to Scott City School and their parents. I have heard a lot of issues that go on at the school. Also I attend a lot of school functions, which makes me aware of things that go on there.

Do you think bullying is an issue within the district?

If so, what steps should be taken?

Yes, The school should take swift action when someone is being bullied. We should make sure the parents are all contacted in timely manner to get it stopped as quick as possible. The issue of bullying is in every school district, not just Scott City School.
