In this fast-paced society with time being an important issue for consumers, many businesses realize customers want to save as much time as possible and utilize any conveniences available to make their lives simpler. Since people who visit a bank for auto or mortgage loans will also need insurance for those purchases, First Community Bank is doing its part to make life a little easier for their customers. "First Community Bank offers a fully staffed insurance services department." said James M. Childress, Vice President of the bank, which is located at 17 S. Mount Auburn Road in Cape Girardeau.
Childress explained the benefits the insurance services at their banking center offer to consumers, "This provides customers the opportunity to obtain quotes on insurance for automobiles, homes, businesses, and also life and health coverage. The financial services department can assist customers with their specific investment needs and financial goals. First Community Bank can provide one-stop shopping for our customers' banking, insurance, and financial needs."
First Community Bank is locally owned by Bootheel Bancorp, Inc. In addition to the Cape Girardeau facility, which opened seven years ago, the bank has other locations in Poplar Bluff, Bernie, Malden and Campbell. The originating charter for this bank was established in 1907. First Community Bank believes its Southeast Missouri roots make the economic picture of this region especially important to them. Childress stated, "We are dedicated to advancing economic growth and financial services to our communities." Childress also added, "We are committed to providing our customers with excellent service and the highest level of expertise in banking, insurance, and financial services."
