"Since starting service Nov. 8, 2009 Cape Air has already proven their business model of high frequency and low fares does work," said Cape Girardeau Regional Airport manager Bruce Loy.

Cape Air offers four daily round-trip flights to and from St. Louis Lambert International Airport, giving passengers more options than its predecessors and more opportunities to conveniently connect with other flights. It also offers two flights each day on Saturday and Sunday.

In terms of price, Cape Air's $49 one-way fare has been very popular with travelers. They have Interline ticketing and baggage agreements with airlines such as American, United, US Airways, Delta and Continental. A code-share agreement with American will become effective in April.

"Cape Air's number one priority is customer service," said Dan Wolf, president and CEO of the Hyannis, Mass.-based company.

Cape Air believes that happy customers will be repeat customers. Its mantra "Make Our Customers Happy and Have a Good Time Doing It" has been reduced to a popular Cape Air acronym, MOCHA HAGoTDI.
