Since day one, I voted and have fought against ObamaCare. This program puts the life and death health decisions of our families and loved ones in the hands of Washington Bureaucrats. It is one more step toward socialism and it is an assault on our freedoms. I will continue to fight to repeal and defund ObamaCare.
The government is doing too much in the name of greenhouse gasses. Businesses across the country are struggling with burdensome regulations. The recent regulations on coal plants will cripple our power generation and the rejection of the Keystone Pipeline is absurd. I have and will continue to fight this bureaucratic obtrusion into American business and our energy sector.
1. Put a cap on the size of government so that it cannot grow any bigger than a certain percentage of GDP. We have this limit in Missouri and we need it in Washington.
2. Require a balanced budget. This will stop the deficit spending and require Washington to do what each of us do -- balance our budgets.
3. Eliminate the Department of Energy, Department of Education and the EPA.
Having served as an officer in the Army and having had three sons in the Marine Corps, I believe our military's primary role is to defend our country against foreign threats. We accomplish this best by having a strong military which deters many enemies from attacking and deals swiftly with those who are not deterred. I oppose placing our troops under UN leadership and believe supporting our allies is important.
I am running for the US Senate because our freedoms are under attack. I am currently rated the most conservative Congressman in Missouri by the Heritage Foundation. I am Pro-life, a strong advocate for our second amendment rights and believe in traditional marriage. In confirming Supreme Court Justices, I believe they should uphold the Constitution not rewrite it. I have a record of taking the hard conservative stands and would appreciate your support.
