__What makes you the most qualified candidate for this position?:__

I have been a teacher and coach for 15 years and have been active in solving problems in the district I work in as part of multiple committees. I have lived in the Nell Holcomb district for 27 years and myself graduated from NHS and have two son's currently attending NHS. My experience as a teacher will give the board a member that has experienced the situations and challenges a district sometimes has along with the passion of a parent that has an immediate interest in the quality of education at NHS and a lifelong resident that has pride in being an NHS Hawk.

The increased diversity in the student body and making sure teachers have access through professional development, funds etc. for helping students become successful.
