HER TYPICAL DAY:
My day varies. Sometimes I'm at my desk planning functions. Others days, I am at a ribbon-cutting or ground-breaking for new businesses. I also host committee meetings. I recruit new members for the chamber, create the chamber newsletter and I run the Leadership Cape program, to name some of the duties that make up my days.
MOST SATISFYING PART OF HER JOB:
Interacting with members and feeling that I have an impact through the chamber on their organizations' successes. I also like to see actual examples of businesses that are successful due to the work we do at the chamber.
HER FAVORITE SONG FROM THE '80s:
"Sweet Child o' Mine" by Guns N' Roses.
HER BIGGEST FIRST-DAY BLOOPER:
The first time I hosted a TV show my guest was not a talker. He did not talk much or elaborate on what I asked. I ran out of material so I went to break early. I had to expand the next two segments.
