AGE: 33

FAMILY: Husband Eric; sons Brennan and Peyton

EMPLOYER: La Croix United Methodist Church

POSITION: Preschool coordinator, children's ministry

COMMUNITY AND PROFESSIONAL INVOLVEMENT:

Jen is a Walking School Bus coordinator, graduate of Educare/SEMO Childhood Development Associate program,

HER TYPICAL DAY:

I get my kids to school. Then I go back home and to work. Mondays are my long day. I plan lessons for children's Sunday school, set up Sunday school rooms, copy lessons for the Sunday School Ministry and anything else that needs to be done. I do wrap-up stuff during the afternoon. After work I pick up the kids and take them to their activities. I also work Saturday night and Sunday at Sunday school.

MOST SATISFYING PART OF HER JOB:

I like being with the kids at Sunday school.

THE WORST HAIRCUT SHE'S EVER HAD:

When I was in the third or fourth grade mom cut my bangs all the way up to my hair line. I never let her touch my hair again.

HER FAVORITE SONG FROM THE '80s:

"Living on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi.

HER BIGGEST FIRST-DAY BLOOPER:

I counted the amount of weeks in a month wrong. I was two Sunday school lessons short.

HER MOST EMBARASSING WORK MOMENT:

During a staff retreat, I called a lady the wrong name over and over.
