HIS TYPICAL DAY:
Every morning I take my daughter Emma to Gordonville to my mother-in-law's house. I get to work between 7:45 and 8 a.m. I go over the loan list from the day before. I do commercial loans and oversee other loans also at the Jackson branch. I wait on customers and try to make things run smoothly. " work with a good group people so they don't need much supervision. That frees me up for other things.
MOST SATISFYING PART OF HIS JOB:
Helping customers fulfill their ideas from building spec homes to starting a trucking company. I like to see them be successful.
THE WORST HAIRCUT HE'S EVER HAD:
When I was a kid I had a bowl cut. It looked like a bowl had been turned upside down on my head.

"Thriller" by Michael Jackson.
HIS BIGGEST FIRST-DAY BLOOPER:
I messed up my first home-equity loan. I had the customer sign on the wrong line. I had to redo the entire loan over, not just reprint it.
HIS MOST EMBARASSING WORK MOMENT:
When my wife gave birth to our daughter, she was a month early. I was at a meeting and a lady at the bank told me my wife was already 5 centimeters dilated and to get there quick. I forgot the name of the hospital. All I could say was "the one down the street."
