To the editor: I think this is quite possibly the funniest thing I've ever read in Speak-Out: "I believe in freedom of speech, but I also think it should be illegal to criticize a sitting president." I think we all need to stew on that for a moment...

I think this is quite possibly the funniest thing I've ever read in Speak-Out: "I believe in freedom of speech, but I also think it should be illegal to criticize a sitting president." I think we all need to stew on that for a moment.

I think this speaks to a larger problem. People in this country seem to want it both ways. They want less taxes, but they want government to do more for them. They want to be safer, but they complain when they're asked to submit to a search at an airport. They want everyone to be free, but not people who have opinions that differ from their own.
