The YELL -- Youth Education Literacy Learning -- campaign was kicked off this week at a breakfast for educators and business representatives who provide their support by advertising in the YELL edition.

Expectations are high again this year for another successful program that will provide the funding needed to promote literacy efforts and keep newspapers in classrooms during the school year.

Now is the time to think about getting involved in this nationally recognized program, either as a volunteer or as a business sponsor. Your participation will be greatly appreciation by the hundreds of students who are the beneficiaries of YELL.
