Vote for the district

Roy Blunt divorced his wife of 30 years to marry Ms. Perlmann because he lusted after money and younger women.

His wife couldn't trust him, the GOP can't trust him, so how can voters trust him?

When Roy received Jack Abramoff's wedding gift, he wouldn't reveal what it was. He has purchased a $1.5 million building lot in D.C. which was probably bought with lobbyist money. Roy has worked for himself and not the voters for 14 years. Roy is always going to work for Roy and not the voters. He is corrupt.

Jo Ann Emerson does not represent the people of the 8th District, but rather big business. She co-sponsored legislation that would lift the ban of American travel and trade to Cuba. It will not help farmers of the 8th District but will help big commercial farmers. Even the Republican Party "bitterly opposed it." The 8th District voters need jobs, which she has failed to bring. We can't keep voting our emotions because we like someone. We have to vote for the district.

Thirty years of Emersons is enough. Let's put new people in D.C. All the candidates working to be the next representative of the 8th District are good people. I like and admire them, but Tommy Sowers has earned the chance to be our next representative. He paid his dues in Iraq and his 11 years of military service to our country.
