UNITED WAY GEARING UP FOR ANNUAL CAMPAIGN

In less than a month, the Area Wide United Way will officially kick off its annual fund-raising campaign to provide financial support for 24 community agencies. In the process, the United Way hopes to educate the public about how the organization works and why it plays such an important role.

Some businesses already are talking to their employees about the United Way and the responsibility to set aside a fair share for this important campaign. Individuals who want to help should call the United Way at 334-9634. Volunteering would be a good start for another successful fund drive.
