I am a former foster child of the house parents living at Shepherd's Cove at this time. I have known David Butler for 10 years, and I also have helped at every Shepherd's Cove event that has happened in the past four years. I trusted David 100 percent with my money and still would.

Every article that I have read has been stretched. I feel like I am reading the National Enquirer.

I know the words that have came out of David's mouth. He has not scammed anyone. He has put a lot into Shepherd's Cove over the past eight years, but you can't win everything.

The raffle was a very hard fund raiser. I would like to see half the people gossiping and judging him to do it themselves. He did the right thing taking the matter to the attorney general. I could guess that the turnaround would be lengthy.

People these days are so materialistic. No one thinks about the kids saved by this home.

There are children sitting in institutions because this home has been run into the ground. Did anyone stop to think about that?

The foster parents at this home are some of the most loving, caring and giving people I know. They have a dream to do this.

It is sad to see children going to homes with people who clearly aren't in it for the kids.

When people open their selfish mouths with junk, other people hurt from it.
