Dear Editor:

Living in rural Cape Girardeau has many advantages. Some of these advantages are:

- Enjoying habitat in their environment.

- A quiet atmosphere

- Friendly and helpful neighbors

- A cooler temperature in summer

- And excellent newspaper carriers!

Marie and Otis Orrell always begin their work day about 1 a.m. - while we sleep. Our day begins at 5:45 a.m. and the Southeast Missourian is always enjoyed as we have our 6 a.m. cup of coffee. If notified, they will hold our newspapers and deliver them upon our return home from a trip. They are very friendly, always willing to help in trouble, and work to keep their customers happy.

We hope you will honor them as "Carriers of the Month."
