We wish to take this opportunity to thank you and the entire Missourian staff for the excellent coverage your newspaper gave the Senior Citizens' Service Tax issue.

The expertise of the Missourian editors, columnists, reporters and photographers was evident in the articles and editorials about the tax. Your Speak Out column was also very fair in printing the pros and cons expressed by various citizens.

The publicity given by your newspaper was certainly instrumental in our committee getting all pertinent information on the issue to the public.

Again, thank you and your staff for the fine coverage. The fact that voters were thoroughly informed on the tax levy and services it will support, we feel, played a major role in the tax levy gaining voter approval.
