THE PUBLIC MIND: JUST REMEMBER THERE ARE NO FREE LUNCHES

~~As reg~ards riverboat gambling in Cape Girardeau, I feel that count~y residents are being cheated in not having an op~port~unity to cast a vote. It is certainly going to impact the quality of our lives.

John Blue and others have stated the reasons for voting against riverboat gambling far more eloquently than I can but I beg the people of "the city of Cape Girardeau" to vote against riverboat gambling. It can not improve the atmos~phere of Ca~pe ~Girardeau as we all know it.

Just remember as you cast your vote, there are ~no free lunches.
