To the Editor: Hats off to the group of brave seniors of Central High School who didn't allow themselves to be intimidated and held prayer at the graduation ceremony last Friday evening. It appears to me the school board either had some bogus legal advice or isn't aware of freedoms and rights in our nation. Freedom of religion isn't freedom from religion but rather the godly and, coincidentally, constitutionally guaranteed right to publicly worship the Living God...

It appears to me the school board either had some bogus legal advice or isn't aware of freedoms and rights in our nation. Freedom of religion isn't freedom from religion but rather the godly and, coincidentally, constitutionally guaranteed right to publicly worship the Living God.

Those graduates showed the necessary initiative and leadership in the face of moral adversity so conspicuously absent in today's society that is needed to preserve our freedom for the next generation.
