Secretary of State John Kerry was in Indonesia last week to promote the ongoing charade of global warming.
He picked the perfect time to discuss global warming as he fled the Northeast and the record ice and snowfall and bitter temperatures.
Kerry must not have gotten the memo that it's no longer global warming -- since that has become a highly popular punch line -- and it has now become climate change.
Hey, if the global warming brand has fallen flat, just try rebranding to climate change and see if a gullible public will swallow that line.
But I strongly suspect Kerry had a drink or two with Al Gore before his trip because our secretary of state said the issue of global warming ranked right up there in universal concerns with "terrorism, epidemics, poverty and weapons of mass destruction."
Only those who do not read and ignore all evidence to the contrary would buy into the myth of global warming.
It was a scant five years ago that Gore told an audience the polar ice cap would disappear by the year 2013. He made no comment recently when reports indicate the ice cap has actually increased, not decreased.
But there's massive money to be made in promoting the concept of global warming.
Just ask Gore and his $100 million windfall thus far.
And is anyone interested in the $1.1 billion in bankruptcies that have befallen dozens of "new energy" projects funded with your tax dollars as part of the Obama push to promote new energy sources, while at the same time pushing his war on coal-fired power plants?
For Kerry -- who was never the brightest light in the house -- to compare global warming to terrorism is an insult to people of minimal intelligence.
Kerry and his ilk believe that throwing trillions of your dollars into the global warming charade will solve our problems. That will be about as successful as throwing trillions upon trillions toward our ongoing war on poverty.
How has that worked?
This administration's view of changing the world is to take your taxes and spend them in any manner they see fit regardless of the massive failures and false promises.
With issues like Obamacare, the IRS illegal action to target enemies and the encroaching loss of privacy and freedoms, the topic of global warming seems almost silly.
Speaking of silly, I have an idea. I want to produce a calendar that starts on Jan. 1, 2016, as a countdown calendar for the number of days this administration will plague our country.
And then I'll take the profits from that calendar and invest in a cow manure, solar, wind farm and make a small fortune.
If it's good enough for Al Gore, then it's good enough for me!
