To the editor; The celebration of the 100 years of the Southeast Missourian was spectacular. Thank you for planning and executing such a delightful day for good memories and for inviting all of the people in the newspaper reading area. As a child some 50 years ago, I can remember waiting on our front steps for our only newspaper carrier in Fornfelt, John Schmidt, to throw our paper on our sidewalk. ...

As a child some 50 years ago, I can remember waiting on our front steps for our only newspaper carrier in Fornfelt, John Schmidt, to throw our paper on our sidewalk. My most important job in the family was to pick up the paper and put it in the house for after-supper reading.

Thank you for a good day of family celebration, good memories and a good newspaper.
