Thanks for getting the word out

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the help the Southeast Missourian has provided in reporting important recovery information to the citizens of Missouri affected by the storms and flooding this spring.

FEMA engages with federal, state and local partners to respond to and coordinate recovery from disasters. It is through the efforts of the Southeast Missourian that the residents of Southeast Missouri learn of the many assistance programs available to them and how to access them.

The Southeast Missourian has been most cooperative and effective in reporting this information. The effort is greatly appreciated.

The weeks I have spend working on recovery in Missouri with SEMA and FEMA have been most gratifying.

I with you and Missouri residents well. Thank you again for your help providing important recovery information to the people of this fine state.
