Texas campaign links Missourians

To the Editor:

Back in 1981, Dr. Jack and Dorothy Miller started a beautification campaign in Bryan/College Station, Texas, that has received wonderful reviews for its accomplishments. I lived in Bryan as the Community Development Coordinator, and Jack was retired from the Veterinarian College at Texas A&M University.

We met through the campaign, initially called, Brazos Beautiful. (This is in Brazos County.) Little did I know that Jack, originally from Millersville, and I would find a link in our family trees in Cape County!
