Telecom bill will lower our costs

Small business owners, like myself, are relying more and more on advanced telecommunications services in efforts to remain competitive, lower our costs, increase productivity and communicate with our customers. Lawmakers in Missouri saw the need to update the telecom rules and approved Senate Bill 237 by an overwhelming majority. Business and residential consumers here and across the state will enjoy the benefits of market-based pricing as opposed to government-imposed rates. This bill will encourage real competition and investment that will help businesses succeed. I would like to thank the Missouri Legislature for its support of SB 237. This legislation is pro consumer and will encourage much needed investment in our community and the state.
