Teen Challenge

One of the more inspirational evenings of the year is the Teen Challenge International of Mid-America annual banquet. Each year the organization, which ministers to men with drug, alcohol and other addictions, hosts this event to help fund its operations. A number of the program's alumni and current participants give their testimonies. It's an incredible witness of the lives that have been changed.

This year's banquet is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday at the Show Me Center. To reserve a seat, call 335-6508. Last year the event drew many in the community representing churches and businesses, as well as individuals who choose to support the faith-based organization.

Many lives have been changed for the better because of the organization and its dedication to the participants' physical and spiritual needs.
