The 2009 Cape Girardeau Storytelling Festival will have a three-day run Friday through Sunday, featuring eight professional storytellers who will entertain audiences in three tents downtown and in the park at the River Campus.
This is the second year for the festival, which proved to be enormously popular last year. Starting at 9 a.m. there will be storytelling all day and into the evening Friday and Saturday. The event lasts until 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Tall tales, funny stories, scary bits and heart-warming excursions into the imagination are featured at the festival. Tickets are $15 for one day or $30 for all three days.
