Stop immigration until officials get it under control

To the editor:

It is hard for me to believe someone in our federal government doesn't have the intelligence or guts to suggest that we have a moratorium on immigration for six months or a year until we get the repercussions of the Sept. 11 attacks under control.

This would permit people working for the Immigration and Naturalization Service to try to get control of the people who don't belong here and send them out of the United States with no exceptions.
