Our hearts break for the family of Levi Collom, a 3-year-old Benton boy who died unexpectedly in March. Levi was the grandson of Steve and Viney Mosley of Cape Girardeau. The Mosleys are both active in the community.

In an attempt to share Levi's spirit with others, the family hopes to raise enough money for a new exhibit at the Discovery Playhouse in Cape Girardeau, which was one of Levi's favorite places to visit. At 6 p.m. Friday night there will be a fundraiser event on the east side of Jeremiah's Restaurant and Lounge in Sikeston, Mo. There will be a silent auction, raffle tickets and entertainment. A concept drawing of the new exhibit will be revealed at the event.

Advance tickets can be purchased at Hi-Tech Communications and First State Community Bank.

Please consider attending the event to support Levi's family. It should be a fun evening for a very good cause.
