I THINK IT'S A total disaster that Sarita Wesley was not named to the all-tournament team of the girls SEMO basketball tournament, which was just held. You've just got to pick people that the media want on the team and not the best players. Sarita, by far, should have been on that team. Thank you.

WHO IS THE SO-CALLED media who select the all-star teams at the tournaments? I would like for you to print their names in the paper, please. It must be people like Peter Kinder and Gary Rust because there is no way that Sarita Wesley should not have made that all-star team at the recent women's tournament. Thank you.

We don't know the names of all the media representatives who chose the team, but they were reporters who covered the tournament games. Don't blame Kinder and Rust for Wesley not making the team; they didn't report on the games and had nothing at all to do with choosing the players.

I'D LIKE TO MAKE a suggestion to KFVS or KBSI. We've had so many pretty parades and people have done so much hard work on these parades, like the veterans' parade and the Christmas parade we just had in Jackson. I'd like to see one of these stations film it and show it on TV for those of us who are in it so we can see it, and also for those who aren't able to get out to see it. I'd like for them to maybe play it more than one time so that you have a chance to see it. I think that would be a really well-received project for them to undertake. Thank you.
