HEY, EVERYBODY did you check out Jupiter in the sky last? Every 15 years. Gotta see it.
RUSH LIMBAUGH, on our license plate? Oh please. Where's my barf bag? Happy New Year.
I WOULD like to respond to the person who blamed the Democrats for the Somalia fiasco. It was Bush and the Republicans who started the whole things and put the boys over there. The Democrats voted against it. It was up to the Clinton administration to clean up the mess the Republicans started. So I wish people would get their facts straight.
SEVERAL WEEKS back there was a comment blasting the mural on the downtown floodwall. I just want to say I agree wholeheartedly with everything that was said. It is a disgrace.
I THOROUGHLY enjoyed all the Christmas displays, especially in the Cape County Park and Jackson City Park. All the displays were precious to me as I know they are to so many, and the memorials even more so. It's so wonderful to see everyone remember their loved ones who have gone on before us and we have fond memories of your loved ones also. Thanks for sharing.
I WOULD like to make a comment about the license plate and the picture of the mule or Rush Limbaugh. I would suggest why don't we have the rear end of the mule put on the license plate? I think that would a good idea.
ON THE license of our car, I don't think we need any change. But between the mule and Rush Limbaugh, I prefer any part of the mule over Limbaugh.
CONCERNING THE control tower that the city of Cape Girardeau has decided to fund. I really think that should be paid for by the people that use it and not by all of us.
SINFUL PEOPLE, this is Christmas time, the birth of Jesus Christ. I have noticed, even before Christmas and after Christmas, just how sinful people are. They look down on people who have made mistakes and cannot correct their mistakes now later in life, but they stand above these people and are judgmental. No one is to judge anyone but God himself. But I have noticed this for so many years during Christmas time how people are so judgmental. I'm very disgusted with it. I just started a new job, and people judge me for my past. They don't know me. They don't know my past. they don't know what I've lived through. Thank you for letting me speak out.
I WOULD like to send this message out whoever's dumping their extra trash on Fremont Street. I have your license number and the next time you do it, I will report you to the police.
