COLUMNIST CAL Thomas recently raised the question as to whether children should take Prozac. Generally, I would say no. However, I would make an exception for those children who are for whatever reason required to read Cal Thomas' tirades.
THANK YOU, Pastor Dissen and Trinity Lutheran Church for being steadfast in your biblical faith.
REGARDING article, "Man who won benefits loses them gambling": The federal government should get these people off of federal disability. This amounts to stealing money from the taxpayers who pay into Social Security. A different program should take care of these handouts, not Social Security. They pay absolutely nothing to Social Security.
I'M THE owner of the dog that got hit on Highway 72. My dog was not running and playing on the highway. My little dog was in our back yard. We have a great big yard fenced in, and she dug under the fence and got to the neighbor's yard. They had the gate open, and that's how she got out. My husband and my little girl were trying to save her life when she got hit by the person who put this comment in there. And it upsets me that somebody would put such a thing in here about this, like it's our problem and like we were bad people. I would just like to say that our little pet was a wonderful, caring dog. Our whole family loved that dog. We took care of her for 2 1/2 years, and I want everybody to know that my little girl saw that accident happen. She has cried and cried and cried ever since. I think it's terrible that somebody who hits a dog drives on and doesn't come back to see what happened or to see if they can help in some way.
I READ that Jim Hart was going to run for Congress. I don't see anything wrong with that, except for the fact he's like all the other Republicans.
I'LL TELL you one thing about all these women in the armed services hollering about sexual harassment. I'm glad I was in back when I was years ago and not now, because if you look at a woman cross-eyed she's going to holler sexual harassment. Women shouldn't even be there trying to act like men.
