I SAW on television where President Clinton made a speech to honor the veterans. I'm a veteran, and it's no honor to me to have a draft dodger trying to make a speech. To me that's like a rapist making a speech to a class of expectant mothers. This guys beats anything I've ever seen...

It's no honor

I SAW on television where President Clinton made a speech to honor the veterans. I'm a veteran, and it's no honor to me to have a draft dodger trying to make a speech. To me that's like a rapist making a speech to a class of expectant mothers. This guys beats anything I've ever seen.

Firmly against gambling, abortion

THIS IS one old Baptist deacon who won't have to stand before the judgment seat of God and explain how I voted against gambling. I cast my vote no. Any way, shape or form I can cast a no vote against gambling I will, and against abortion too. And I will always keep this "Vote No" sticker on the back of my bumper, and every Christian should to let the world know that they're still against gambling. One preacher laughed and said, "You might as well take that off. The vote passed. It's no good to have that on there." It is good to have it on there. I'm letting the world know I'm against gambling, and I'll do the same thing against abortion. I don't care if it's the best, perfect politician in the world, if he's for abortion, he's going to have to stand before the judgment seat of God, and he's going to have to give his answer saying why he was for abortion.

Old building is an eyesore

WHOEVER OWNS the Buckner-Ragsdale building isn't concerned what it looks like. Could this not be looked into? I can't believe the people who have businesses downtown put up with this appearance. It makes one realize what a dull place downtown is.

An obvious fanatic

TO THE brainwashed Democrat who thinks Republicans hate Social Security, he is obviously a fanatic or just stupid. To mention how to finance Social Security or any social programs and to make it financially sound, you are attacked like people this who are too biased or have no common sense or maybe just want to take the heat off their perverted leader. If you want to argue politics, let's start with honor, decency, morality and moral values. As Mr. Kennedy said, "Ask not what my country can do for me, but what I can do for my country."
