I JUST wanted to let the person who crossed the centerline and sideswiped my truck know that I'm all right. I just thought you might be concerned since you didn't bother to stop. My truck needs $470 work on the driver's door and cab.

Telemarketing calls are nuisance

IS IT just me or what? Within 1 hour and 15 minutes, I've had three telemarketers calling, and I'm tired of it. Two from banks and one from the deputy sheriff's association. This is getting absolutely ridiculous. You can't eat a meal or anything else. I think it's time this stuff was stopped.

Canadians thankful for global warming?

I'D LIKE to say thanks to global warming. I wonder how the people in northeast in Canada would have survived this winter had it not been for global warming.

Clinton backers should go fight

I WANT to comment on the Iraqi situation, the way Saddam Hussein is laughing at Clinton. Iraqis look at Clinton as a coward because he was a draft dodger. And the military has been gutted, so Saddam Hussein knows he's about as safe as he was in his mama's arms. Nobody's going to follow Clinton anyway. I just wish all these people who voted for Clinton would go sign up now like the Americans did before World War I. You could go over and fight there now.

Cut sports, teach players to read

THIS IS to the person who was wanting to get rid of the early childhood program. As a parent, I have taught my two children at home. One is now is school. If you want to cut out some program, let's cut some of the sports and get some of these kids who play baseball and soccer and football who cannot read and teach them a few things.
