THIS IS a commentary to all people out there who read the paper. I don't know if this happens to you or not. What's happened to the Postal Service? Does anybody know? What's up at Postal Service?

THIS IS a commentary to all people out there who read the paper. I don't know if this happens to you or not. What's happened to the Postal Service? Does anybody know? It used to be the mailman wore a uniform. You could tell who he was. He didn't have hair clear down to his back and get out in the wet rain and delivering wet mail. What kind of an outfit are they running up there? Another thing: Can't they read? We've had some of our mail delivered all over the area. I know it's not very good complaining too much, but that's the way I feel about it. And I hope other people voice their opinion. Maybe they'll straighten the outfit up.

Patient's lament: Waiting

WAITING FOR my appointment at the optometrist the other day, I watched the girl go to the file drawers six times while she was making up my chart. She never came back with anything. It took her 40 minutes to put my chart together, and I had to listen to a wonderful conversation about what she did the night before. When I finally was taken into the room to be examined by the doctor, it was after a wait of an hour and 10 minutes. What type of an emergency can an optometrist have that it takes his staff that long to get a patient into see him?

Reap the whirlwind

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree in full with Bill Coomer's letter to the editor about President Clinton. The Republicans played God, so now they're going to reap the whirlwind.

How many others?

SOME DON'T believe any of the Clinton accusers except the ones who have material proof. If it weren't for the tapes, the dress and so on, Clinton and his spinmeisters would still be denying. Another woman has come forward to report sexual advances or even rape. From his past scandals, whom do you believe? How many times did this man do these vulgar acts? How many more had similar experiences and were ashamed to be exploited and have the public and their friends know? What a life of perversion and lies. Everyone should be appalled, especially women. Where are the women's groups? Silence seems to be their answer.

That hypocrite thing

THE FEMINISTS of America have proven themselves to be disingenuous hypocrites.

Work on the boundaries

MY OPINION on the new school boundaries that were listed in the paper Feb. 24 is they aren't very good. They please only the minority. They don't please everybody else. I think the school board should look a little closer before it decides on these boundaries. These aren't the appropriate boundaries. They're taking kids out of schools they've attended for several years. It's not the proper way to do it, and the board needs a better way to assess the boundaries. I think a better job could be done. The boundaries they have now do not please most of the parents.

Go and sin no more

IT LOOKS like Bill Coomer is at it again in his letter to the editor. Previously he was flying along with Bill Clinton, and now he's trying to drown all Republicans and anyone else who has the guts to take a stand against Bill Clinton. We all know that politicians first learn to lie, then to legislate. Mr. Coomer said what so many Democrats say: "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." And, like they also do, he stopped right there. Jesus also said to the woman, "Neither do I condemn thee. Go and sin no more." Why do people leave that part out? Is it because Bill Clinton has such a recurring pattern that they know he will do it again and again and again? This so-called good economy thing is also disgusting. We may multiply our possessions, but we sure have reduced our values thanks to Mr. Clinton.

Let's settle this outside

I SEE where Mr. Carville wants to declare war. I've been in war, and I helped take Porkchop Hill. I would like to take on Mr. Carville in hand-to-hand combat. I know I've got a few years on him, and I'm a little weathered, but I believe I could hold my own with him. I'd like to try it anytime he's ready. I'd like to fight for what's right. In my opinion, what I fought for is not what Mr. Carville stands for.

Have mercy on us

HE GOT by with perjury, though prisons are full of others haven't. And he's still in our house. He's committed unspeakable sexual sins, and he's still in our house. This man is president of our United States, and he's still in our house. Dear God, have mercy on us.

Ideas for Republicans

DAVID LIMBAUGH was talking about finding ways to reunite the Republicans and get us together on a single idea. What we need to do is go back tot he basics of Republican ideas. Limit the size of government. Reduce taxes and give the money back to the people. Let's keep the budget balanced and keep everything going the way Republicans want it.
