It's Saturday morning, Sept. 6. I'm at the SEMO District Fair on Saturday morning that has been changed. The fair board needs to consider next year the amount of business that they are causing a lot of businesses up and down Kingshighway and also Broadway that they're losing when they block off this traffic all the way back to Independence and all the way up north on Kingshighway, where some businesses aren't even opening up on Saturday morning, because they can't have customers to get in and out of their businesses. The Monday afternoon time was a lot better, because a lot of the businesses were already closed for the day and weren't losing that revenue.
Thank you, MoDOT, for fixing the railroad crossing at Jackson, there at 72-61 by the trains. They can't seem to keep up the railroad tracks there, so I guess MoDOT has to do it for them. But thank you, MoDOT.
Yes, I'd like to ask when people are going to get tired of them raising personal property and real estate taxes? It's getting to be ridiculous. All the money that they're wasting. People are getting where they can't afford anything. People are going to have to stand up and say enough is enough.
If you haven't seen "13 Hours in Benghazi" on Fox News, you need to see this. It's an eye opener. And it will make you sick at your stomach to think that our nation, our leaders, or whatever, let those four people, including Ambassador Stevens, die over there simply because we had a stand-down order from our administration. Watch it and learn something.
