I am glad that Jackson is looking into the grass clippings in the street, and I wish Cape Girardeau would, too. C'mon, Cape City Council; do something about that.
To the person who complained about the noisy motorcycles: They should be more worried about pickup trucks and cars that sound like they don't have a muffler on them. It's more aggravating than motorcycles, and the police should be checking them out.
I would like to say that the promotional calendar/schedule for Cape Central Football this year is nice, but why feature only a few kids on it? Other kids may not be "stars" or "favorites," but they did put in just as many hot days at practice this summer as anyone else. There's more than four or five kids on a team; let's treat each and every one like they're important.
As has been said by our nation's secretary of state, "This is our Munich moment." Are we going to be a courageous nation of Winston Churchills or an appeasing, wimpish nation of Neville Chamberlains?
If we shoot missiles into Syria, there will be innocent civilians killed. I don't want to kill innocent civilians; I think that is murder. Please don't send missiles into Syria.
