Progressive-minded residents, resist repeated Speak Out calls for you to leave the area. We are the last, best hope for our beloved region's ability to survive and thrive.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to the poll workers at Bethany Baptist Church who braved the lack of air conditioning in the building Aug. 2. Thanks, city council. We are going to pay more for our property that gets flooded and can't be used because they made the wrong decisions several years ago to close the ditch along Hopper Road and put into a small drain pipe.
Our first responders need our community support more than ever. Please join together and burn a blue light at your home for all of our men and women who keep us safe. Thank you!
