There are lots of free give-aways for food, backpacks, clothes, etc. I would like to see the various food banks give their customers some hoes, rakes, seeds, young plants, etc., so they could put out a little garden and have some free food with a little effort. ...
Work and food
There are lots of free give-aways for food, backpacks, clothes, etc. I would like to see the various food banks give their customers some hoes, rakes, seeds, young plants, etc., so they could put out a little garden and have some free food with a little effort. My parents had a garden. I have a garden every year and buy very little produce during the summer. I know 80-year-olds who still have their own garden. Maybe the food banks could have a big garden plot, and the clients could work in that garden to help out their situation. Please teach people that a little work goes a long way.

Immigration problem
I am extremely upset with a society that would allow 50,000 to 80,000 immigrants come in to our country, illegals, and will give them free education eventually, when the average, middle-class worker is working his buns off to try to make a living and give their children a college education. Do we not see as a society what is wrong with this? We need to get new congressmen, a new president, new everything elected in 2016 and '15. Please, our country is in a desperate situation. Do not admit the illegals -- I don't care how old they are .
